The students were excited about talking to me and were full of ideas. It was so energizing! Unanimously, the students felt that the school library in the future had to be “high-tech”—technology in the name of computers needed to be accessible in the school library. But some of them went on to describe electronic organizers, books on discs with 3-D graphics, and virtual reality stations—if one was studying the middle ages, one would put on a glove and do battle in a virtual world! They wished that the library did not have restricted access and that they could access it from home or come into the school library in the evening and work.
